British Stay Guide is an architecture-led British stay guide. We publish a compact editorial selection of contemporary hotels — judged on plan, materials, rooms, food and whether the place knows when to stop performing.

The tone is quiet on purpose. British hospitality does not need another brochure shouting about luxury. It needs editors willing to say which buildings hold their nerve.
